About Reaction Test Lab

A small browser tool built to make reaction-time results more transparent than a single unexplained number.

What it measures

The test measures elapsed time from a browser animation frame presenting a visual signal to a captured pointer or keyboard event. Five valid trials produce the average, median, best result, sample variation and visible outlier flags.

What it cannot isolate

The score includes display refresh, input hardware, operating-system scheduling and browser event delivery. It does not isolate neural conduction time and is not calibrated clinical equipment.

Why history stays local

Personal runs are useful without requiring an account. The latest 20 completed runs stay on this device so exact results do not need to enter a central database.
